PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS POLICY
GOVERNMENT ENTITIES AND THIRD-PARTY FEES
Our fees never include court filing, governmental, or third-party fees. These additional costs may include court filing fees, service of process fees, notary fees, and co-parenting courses.
FILING FEE WAIVERS
If you are on a low income and feel you qualify for indigency, we can provide you with an Application for Indigency form to fill out so the Clerk can determine if you are eligible to waive the court filing fees.
We accept personal checks and money orders and the following credit/debit cards and e-checks:

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PROCESSING/CONVENIENCE FEE
Customers will be charged a 1% processing fee on invoices when paying by echeck.
Customers will be charged a 2.9% + $0.25 processing fee on invoices when paying using a credit or debit card.
If we need to take your payment and key it in over the phone, a 3.5% processing fee will be applied.
CHECK CLEARING POLICY
If paying with a personal check, services may be delayed until the check clears.
BOUNCED CHECK POLICY
If your check is returned for insufficient funds, we will charge you $25 plus any fee charged to us by our bank. Future payments will only be accepted by cash or certified funds.
DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENTS
All our projects require prepayment in full.
However, we will be open to discussing payment plans if you’d like to discuss payment plans.
REFUND POLICY
All monies submitted for document preparation services are non-refundable. Each project is a customized product, and all work begins as soon as we create your file.
Should you request a refund, we will review it on a case-by-case basis.
Nothing that happens by the judicial system or anything to do with court rulings or delays by the court is grounds for a refund.
CHANGES TO DOCUMENTS AND FORMS
Any significant changes requested to be made to documents after the documents have been finalized that are not due to any errors or omissions caused on our part may cause you to incur an additional charge. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
However, if it is determined to be a “significant change,” there will be a $50 charge minimum. It will be up to our discretion to decide what constitutes a “significant change.” This also includes documents that have been abandoned or become stale.
